Farmers in developing countries who grow the food we like, need our help to ensure they earn enough money to live on by selling their crops. Unfortunately many farmers in developing countries are too poor to feed their families properly or send their children to school.
By looking for the Fairtrade mark when you do your shopping, you are helping those farmers get a good price for their crops. They can go from living a miserable existence to working in cooperation with other farmers, developing their farms. and living more securely.
Whether you’re an individual, business, school etc. there are always opportunities for you to get involved in promoting Fairtrade.
