		<description>Shared Earth Leeds, Network Night.
February 26th 5.30-8pm.
This time, I am very pleased to announce that Jeremy Piercy, founder of Shared Earth, will be present, to read extracts and sign his newly published book. He will be talking about how he got involved in fair trade, how the business grew and how fair trade is still growing today.
The evening is also a chance for you to meet like minded people, who are not only interested in fair trade but campaign for global justice, as well as those an involvement in international development. There will be entertainment from Leeds drumming troupe &quot;Fairplay&quot; as well as drinks and nibbles!
This is a good opportunity for the Lord mayor to be seen supporting Fair trade within Leeds, and because of the high profile of Mr.Piercy, is bound to attract much interest. Indeed, the Lord Mayor of York has accepted an invitation similar to ours at our York branch to come along early in the evening to receive a signed copy of Mr.Piercy`s book!
If you would like more information, please email the shop at
